Last Friday, a few girlfriends of mine & I had a fun night out on the town, which included seeing the Broadway musical, CHICAGO! We got all dolled up & went out to dinner at Adobo Grill in Downtown Indianapolis. The service was superb & our dishes were delicious! I enjoyed their Al Pastor, Adobo Tacos marinated slow-roasted pork with ancho salsa and pineapple pico de gallo, I highly recommend it. The restaurant has a very fun vibe as well - this was our second trip & it was just as great as the first.
After dinner, we headed to the Murat Egyptian Room to see CHICAGO. Although we were up in the balcony, I thought our seats were great. I love being up higher to see all the action! I didn't realize until the show started that Tom Wopat was playing Billy Flynn...Tom Wopat as in Luke Duke - Dukes of Hazzard! Say what? He has a really good voice! Roxie & Velma were great as well...and I always have a soft place for Amos...I love Mr. Cellophane :) Oh, and Mama rocked as well. I loved the costumes (although - I won't be wearing anything like that in the near future) but it was just a fun show. So glad I was able to see it!
